ingredients

1 – 1 1/2 Lb. Salmon filet, skin on

1/2 Cup Honeyed Garlic Maple Sauce (get the recipe here)

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Lemon, sliced

Cooking Spray

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with tin foil for easy cleanup. Spray with cooking spray.

2. Sprinkle the salt and pepper over the salmon filet and brush with the sauce.  Place on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.

3. Brush the salmon again with the sauce and place under your oven’s broiler for 3 – 5 minutes until the top is nice and brown.  Watch carefully so the sugar in the sauce does not burn.  Top with slices of lemon and serve on a platter or cut into individual portion sizes and serve.

NOTE:This recipe is all about the sauce. You can make that well in advance and have it on hand for all kinds of recipes. It is soooo good. Grab the sauce recipe here: Honeyed Garlic Maple Sauce
