Yup, this is it… my take on that magic sauce they put on burgers – Special Sauce (for burgers). Obviously, I don’t have their “secret recipe” but I think this comes pretty close. It doesn’t really matter though, since this is one tasty sauce and perfect on your burger. It is easy to make and holds well in the refrigerator for at least a week.
Making this sauce couldn’t be easier. Just gather all the ingredients. I’ll bet you have all of the them in the fridge and pantry already. Put everything into a bowl and mix. I like to cover this and chill overnight to let all the flavors meld together but if you can’t wait, go right ahead and use on your favorite burgers.
Be sure to try it on my Smashed Cheeseburgers and anything else you think could use a good dollop of flavor. It makes a great sandwich spread, dip for veggies and even a salad dressing (Think distant cousin of Russian and French dressings.) It couldn’t be easier to make either, so whip up a batch and watch it disappear.

Tzatziki is another great sauce good with lamb, gyros, Souvlaki and as a dip or salad dressing. My Hatch Chili Salsa with Peaches is amazing with chips, but I also use it to top fish and chicken. Looking for an Easy Chimichurri Sauce? I’ve got you covered. I also really like this Garlicky Pea Shoot Pesto to spread on sandwiches and to toss with pasta.
