August signals the end of summer (boo hoo) but also triggers tons of end-of-season sales. Sure, it is a great time to get the bathing suit you’ve been eyeing all season, and half-price beach towels are a steal, but I’ve scrounged around and have some amazing deals for the kitchen and the home. Take a look at what I’ve found. Hopefully, there is a buried treasure in here for you. I’ve also found some amazing gift ideas for the foodies in your life. I’m getting a jump-start on that holiday shopping. Take a look.

Head on over to Staub for some of the biggest sales I’ve seen this year. They have their cast iron 7 qt. round cocotte pot on sale for 21% off list price (a $90 savings). They also have their cast iron, 11-inch deep skillet on sale with a $70 discount and if you grab their 3- piece ceramic rectangular baking dishes, you’ll save another $70. Love the blue color too!

I’m always on the lookout for fun, creative kitchen and home gifts for all the foodies in my life and these were some of my top finds this month. Many are on sale too, so take a look. These fun fish-bowl glasses with glass straws would make a great gift and a fun addition to any party. A set of two is on sale for under $20…I don’t know how long they’ll last. The mini heart-shaped waffle maker has already been ordered…just waiting for delivery. The cookie and milk shooter cups are too adorable not to buy, and for under $25, might be in everyone’s holiday stockings this year.

But by far, my favorite find this month is the elegant and amazing Porthole Diffuser. You can infuse all kinds of flavors for cocktails, flavored oils, teas and more. It is the incredible design that got my attention. If you purchase the bundle, you save 25$. Check out the design and beauty of this item.

Over at Bloomingdales, they have some amazing pieces on sale that are great for entertaining. The Villeroy and Boch Eye Catcher Centerpiece is great for offering small appetizers or for displaying cookies at a buffet. They also have a very cool new wave chip and dip server that I’m crushing on. Save $107 on that now! But these ultra chic, and oh so different, wine glasses have definitely caught my eye. Also, by Villeroy and Boch, these New Moon Claret Glasses (set of four) are on sale and, may have to come home with me for my holiday dinner!

While it isn’t on sale, I’ve been wanting one of these outdoor pizza ovens for a couple of years. This Ooni Karu 12 Multi-Fuel Pizza Oven is reasonably priced and compact, so it will work in small spaces. You can also pack it up and carry it to picnic areas, a friend’s house and anywhere you can think of. It is an excellent brand and it may still be coming home with me this summer.
