I really upgraded my coffee game when I got a milk frother. Cappuccinos, lattes and frothy hot chocolates started showing up at my house on a regular basis. You can buy a really inexpensive hand-held model (I’ve had mine for years) or invest in a 4-in-1 milk frother and steamer for some serious hot drinks.

When it comes to hot beverages, let’s not overlook tea! I have tea everyday and a variety of teas at that! Sure, I throw a mug of water in the microwave, but having a great teapot adds such a special touch to my kitchen. This clear glass model is microwave save and really shows off your add-ins and of course, colors! For a classic tea kettle, AllClad’s Stainless Steel Induction Tea pot is a great buy.

Hot chocolate gets a major upgrade when you offer amazing add ins, special touches and a great hot cocoa bar with toppings. I love this acrylic toppings holder. Fill it with mini-marshmallows, chocolate chips or mini mints which are great to add to cocoa. These hot cocoa hard candy spoons are perfect for stirring hot chocolate.

MAKING HOMEMADE PASTA

To make great pasta, start with a great KitchenAid stand mixer. Yes, you can make it by hand, but the stand mixer will make the job fast and easy and you’ll be making fresh pasta all the time. Grab the 3-piece pasta making attachments so you can roll and cut your pasta like a pro. You are now ready to make pasta all year long.

You’ll need a rolling pin if you don’t have the pasta attachments above. This long wooden rolling pin will do the trick. Making spaghetti, fettuccine or other long pasta? You’ll want to let it dry on a rack. This Bamboo Pasta Rack can handle the job.

Have you ever made corzetti? This stamped pasta is a product of Italy allowing you to put your personal stamp on pasta. I love that you can also use these to make stamped cookies. This grape cluster corzetti stamp is one of my favorites from my favorite Italian who hand carves each one. I love mine and buy them for friends that cook. I also like the bee corzetti stamp. BAKING BREAD, MUFFINS, AND CAKES

Fall is all about baking around here and I make quick breads, muffins and treats all winter long. What make them fun are some of the great muffin and cake tins you can find like this Autumn Muffin tin from Nordic and this Autumn Cakelet pan (great for portion control!).

There is something to be said for silicone baking…easy cleanup, no sticking and easy removal. The silicone baking molds are also a lot let expensive. Try this 2-piece Autumn, Halloween and Thanksgiving set at half the price of the bronze molds. Or this 2-piece leaf mold set would be great all season long too.

Don’t forget to grab what I consider the best find on ETSY, this sour dough bread starter. This heritage starter has been nurtured by a 93-year old San Francisco women her whole life. While she has been the steward of the starter, it is actually a 233-year old sour dough starter. For $7.99 there is no reason everyone doesn’t have it! Fall baking never looked so good!
