ingredients
8 Slices of Good Walnut Raisin Bread cut in half (16 pieces)
½ Lb. thinly sliced roasted turkey
1 wedge of Brie: 16 small slices of Brie to top each toast piece
1 granny smith apple, thinly sliced
Raspberry Sriracha jam to taste (recipe follows)
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat the broiler to high in your oven. Toast the bread on both sides.
2. Spread a Tsp. to a Tbsp. of the jam on each bread slice. Top with slices of the turnkey, two thin slices of the apple and a piece of the cheese.
3. Put back under the broiler for 1-2 minutes. (Watch carefully since it can burn quickly). Serve as a light brunch item, lunch or appetizer.
Raspberry Sriracha Jam
Mix ½ cup of raspberry preserves with 2 Tsps. – 2 Tbsp. of Sriracha. (This can be as spicy as you like so taste as you go. For a medium kick, 1 Tbsp. does the trick for me.)
